Hi, I'm Kels!

The Best Sourdough Glazed Donuts

I have a new favorite product to share. I might be slightly obsessed with Costco, but for good reason. They have some staples that I use over and over again, and have produce at a decent price (unless you’re trying to buy raspberries in the middle of winter) in bulk, which is great when juicing. While I was there a couple of weeks ago there were samples galore. I don’t usually get to Costco when the samples are out (I get there at 10 when they open, or shortly after). This day happened to be around lunch time on a Saturday. Who knew? We basically ate lunch just walking around, and had a great time trying some new things. They had coconut water samples and I had five . . . then we came upon these tortillas. My girls scarfed them down and I wanted to go back for more. I never usually buy something being sampled, but I couldn’t resist, they were delicious. One look at the ingredients had me thrilled. These are by far the best tortillas I’ve ever tasted (even homemade).

Even more than the taste, they are PACKED with great ingredients: whole grain wheat flour, whole grain rolled oats, flax seeds, flax meal, chia seeds, hemp seeds, teff seeds, wheat germ, brown rice flour, coconut flour, honey, unsalted butter, olive oil, water, vital wheat gluten, salt, baking powder, baking soda, guar gum, yeast, cinnamon, raisin juice, L-Cysteine.

That has to be the best list I’ve ever seen, even if I could do without the last ingredient. They are scrumptious and chewy and hearty and I’m in love. My girls love them and I am loving eating all these wraps full of quinoa and fresh veggies (my latest craving). I keep the package in the freezer because we wouldn’t eat 20 of them before they went bad — a sure sign that they are made with actual fresh ingredients! I just pull a few out and they defrost within minutes.

Go pick some up today, they are amazing.

  1. I, too, loved these tortillas but can't find them now! Any suggestions on where to get them?
    Thanks

I have never seen them anywhere else and will cry if my Costco no longer carries them! I bought a few and froze them a while back, so I haven't been looking for them for a couple of months. If I ever see them, I will respond and let you know where to find them.
